Why are you laughing, idiot?
Finally, the extracts did the work. I’ve got my dreaded $32 billion dollars out of my database, but the fun didn’t stop. Now the monthly spend doesn’t even closely match fiscal periods. That’s because we use dollar amounts that appear in ledger as soon as the invoice is posted, on the contrary to the reports that were used by same database that we get our extracts from. Ouch, when I think - it hurts right here (points to head). Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me. We need to know how much we actually spend. So we take that column from database and sum it up. What’s there to contemplate about?
Got the rundown on checks I am owed. Looks like I’m short one check that never arrived. It’s the end of 2004, they finally got the voting going on computers, and the hi-tech company can’t do direct deposit. Great.
