Test-driving Canon 20D. So far I can sum up things to the following - in well-lit situations the camera is amazing. In not-so-well-lit results may vary. I contribute this to the lousy lens that came with camera, it’s USM 18-55. If I ever decide to transition to Canon, I think I’ll try to get body and decent lense separately, this one is just a piece of junk.
Will post some images later.

Overall impression - good. I liked the movie and I also liked the trend. Hollywood started to make good sequels, this is both good news and bad. Good - well, it’s obvious, we’re gonna see more good sequels, like Shrek 2, Spiderman-2, now the Meet The Parents-2. Bad - because this means that Hollywood is running out of ideas. I mean - looks like it would be easier to make Spiderman-5, then come up with something original.
Back to the movie. The cast was good (well, no one said otherwise so far), however, I kept trying to substitute Barbara Streisand with character of Bette Midler from Stepford Wives. Looked funnier this way, at least to my taste. Actually, if I ever want to see Stepford Wives again, it would be because of Bette Midler. Although Barbara Streisand was great, Dustin Hoffman was good (seemed to me that he was trying to figure out what to do with his role during the whole movie). Robert DeNiro seemed a bit tired - maybe of his character, maybe of something else, but it was visible which I don’t think is a good sign. Ben Stiller was okay, although I never really liked him, especially after I saw him in “Alone Came Polly”… Just don’t like that kind of humor, therefore always afraid that he’s going to do something like public puking or other acts of disgusting expose that I particularly dislike.
Not gonna go over the plot, both not to be redundant (since all critics seem to be anxious to repeat the story) and to avoid spoilers (never knew when to stop anyway), so I’ll just say that if you don’t know where to take your date in this January cold - take her to Meet the Fockers. You’ll have some good laughs for sure.
